Thule Shield InLock

With a streamlined and completely hardware-free design, the Thule Shield InLock single pannier perfectly combines ultimate comfort with a rattle-free ride. Its unique construction makes the bag very stable while cycling and surprisingly comfortable to carry when not cycling. Thanks to its water-repellent finish, it perfectly protects all your belongings from harsh weather conditions.

Fabric and water resistance
The main material used for this bike bag is robust 420D nylon, which makes the bag extremely hard-wearing and perfectly suited to frequent use. The fabric is IPX4 certified and features welded seams instead of regular stitching. This combination makes for a very solid, water-repellent construction. As a result, your belongings stay dry during rainfall or when the bag is exposed to road spray.

Finish and additional details
A striking feature of this pannier is the hardware-free design of the back of the bag. Whereas many other panniers have hard, protruding hooks, the Shield's back panel is completely smooth, which makes carrying the bag when you're not cycling particularly comfortable. Weighing just 0.8 kg, the bag also adds very little weight to the bike. To improve visibility in traffic, reflective elements have been strategically placed on the front, sides and back of the bag.

Mounting and dimensions
The Thule Shield single pannier is 31.5 cm wide, 23.0 cm deep and 57.5 cm high, and offers a 22 litre volume. It is attached exclusively via the smart InLock system and requires the use of the separately available Thule InLock universal panel, which can be easily installed on a luggage rack or a Thule Tour Rack. Once the panel is in place, you can simply slide the bag onto the frame to lock it securely in place and prevent any rattling while cycling.
